As promised in our past couple of Project Director updates, CultureTrust is moving to a new accounting system called SAGE/Intacct. Please enjoy this overview video from Jamaine to explain a bit more about the process.

WHEN AND HOW WILL I LEARN WHAT TO DO?
SAGE/Intacct has gone live and is ready to go! Since we want to give you time to learn everything, we’ll close out the redundant Portal functions on June 1st.
We're holding one last group session led by staff to get you started! Please register so we know who to expect and who to reach out to:

WHY ARE WE DOING IT?
Because, as Jamaine mentioned, in order to get the most up-to-date information on your balance sheet right now, you have to ask us for the updates. And constantly having to ask us for updates is annoying. When we transfer to SAGE/Intacct, you’ll be able to log in, look at your automatically-updated cash balance, see what’s been paid out already, and generate financial reports whenever you want, without having to wait on a CultureWorks staffer to process it.
And no, this won’t cost you any additional fees (Hurrah)!
HOW IT WORKS (The Short Version)
- First, you log into http://intacct.com/ with your username and password (which we will provide you).
- Then you’ll submit your invoices, payroll, and any expenses into SAGE. You'll have to choose the expense category and class, and maybe a few more fields, then hit submit for staff to approve it.
- If we return an expense to you in SAGE, you'll be notified automatically with an email and a link to that transaction, so you’ll see updates and what changes need to be made.
If you know the Portal, it should take you roughly 1-2 hours to learn how SAGE/Intacct works. But everyone’s different and will have different questions! We’ll be happy to answer them, and SAGE also has a support community.
We’re also importing the past 3 years of data for everyone by the time you log in, so all your project’s financial records will be there.
